Organizing the complex into something simple and sophisticated is the power of design. We interpreted and designed where and under what conditions robots can contribute to consumer life. By proposing a cable organizer mount that allows for neat organization as it transforms to fit the space and function, we helped the robot go beyond the boundaries of a factory or industrial robot to serve a variety of F&B applications, including bakeries, fast food, and barbecue cooking.
The E0509 has a 5 kg base load and a 900 mm working radius, enabling it to produce a wide range of food and beverage items, such as coffee, ice cream and fried foods. The robot has secured food hygiene and safety certification from a US hygiene safety agency, thanks to a contamination-resistant coating and sealed gaps between connecting axes.
